TUTTLINGEN

Hosting more than 600 companies in the sector of medical technology, the city of Tuttlingen is often referred to as “World Capital of Medical Engineering”. Since Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences has created a subsidiary campus in 2009, Tuttlingen also is a university location. Rising only 30 kilometers from Tuttlingen, the Danube connects the city with several European capitals, including Vienna and Budapest.

Explore the picturesque old town of Tuttlingen, which was completely rebuilt after being destroyed by a fire in 1803. If you rather want to travel back to the Middle Ages, Honberg fortress ruins are a rewarding destination for you.
